Spotlight On – Smith+Webb
This is the very first ‘Spotlight On’ since the launch of the Shop Kind Club. It’s a way of shining a spotlight on the members. Not just their products, but who they are, what they do and how they give back. It’s a chance to get to know these lovely people and their businesses a little better.
This first one features the wonderful Smith+Webb.
I’m a huge fan of their clothes, which are gorgeously soft and comfy, but also for their ethos. For every product sold, a percentage is donated to charity. Chloe and Caroline, who run Smith+Webb, are passionate about raising awareness, spreading kindness and are two incredibly lovely humans. After starting their families they wanted to create clothing that had more meaning. They wanted to design an ethical and stylish brand that would also enable them to support mental health, anti-bullying and other charities. Chloe and Caroline started as friends but are now business partners too, and both live with their families in Essex.
They produce beautiful, organic, sustainable clothing for men, women and children and also stock some lovely accessories. Whether it’s ‘Be Kind’, ‘Happy Human’ or ‘Good Mood’ their clothes will lift your mood and send a positive message. Their clothing is certified Fair Wear, designs are completely original and printed in the UK.
Their charity partners include:
- Anti Bullying Pro
- Little Roo Neonatal Fund
- Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families
- Cancer Research UK
- CALM
- MIND
- Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group
- NSPCC
- CRUSE Bereavement Care
“In a world where you can be anything, Be Kind”.
