Change is Good!
7 months after creating the Shop Kind Club, I have decided to say a fond farewell to Life, Love and Little Things and fully embrace my bit on the side!
It’s been quite the journey to reach this point, starting with Hugo’s cancer diagnosis and my Life, Love and Leukaemia blog back in 2015. I feel a little sad to be moving on from something that was such a big part of our lives for so long, but I’m grateful too, because it’s led me here.
I felt strongly during Hugo’s treatment that I wanted to use our experience to make a difference, to have something positive come out of such a difficult time and I hope the Shop Kid Club is exactly that.
It would be impossible to forget what we’ve been through, and in many ways I don’t want to. It’s changed us all. Our outlook and perspective on life is different, we are different, hopefully for the better. We can’t forget, but I also don’t want it to define us or to hold us back. It’s so important to remember how we got here and why we’re doing this, but it’s equally important to let it propel us forward. To embrace the changes and make the most of opportunities that present themselves, even if it does seem a little daunting.
I know many of you have followed Hugo’s story with kindness and support, and I want you to know he will still feature. He is the inspiration and motivation behind it all. So, his cheeky little face will still be popping up and I will definitely keep you up to date on how he is doing.
I’m really looking forward to creating bigger and better things with the Shop Kind Club. Bringing you lots of fantastic products, introducing you to the members and highlighting the work of the amazing charities they support.
Thank you, as always, for your amazing support.
